8th May 2012 : New Library For UB
The University of Burao will benefit from a large new library at its main campus.  The funding for this new building is being provided by Dahabshiil Group.

Over 80 students from UB benefited from an 8-day intensive course in English Writing Skills taught by a visiting lecturer from Australia.

1st Nov 2011 : UB Staff Training Workshop
The University of Burao completed a four day training workshop for all permanent staff at UB. This training, the first of its kind at UB, was designed to boost capacity of personnel, teach new skills, and enhance the overall development of the University.
